Tom has been working in commercial real estate since 1987. As a licensed real estate broker since 1995, his background in the shopping center industry is quite diverse.
Starting with a mid-sized developer in Northeast Ohio, Tom obtained a comprehensive background in all aspects of Leasing, Property Management and Development. After 13 years on the Landlord side Tom left as Vice President of Leasing to join the Tenant side of the industry.
The next four years were spent as Director of Real Estate for the fourth largest publicly traded retail company in its industry. Tom created the Real Estate department and handled all site selections, lease negotiations, lease renewals and coordinated construction and facility management for over 140 stores in 14 states.
Prior to joining LandQwest Commercial, Tom was President of T. S. & Associate, a commercial real estate brokerage office specializing in Retail Tenant Representation.
Tom joined LandQwest Commercial in 2005 as a Broker Associate. He specializes in Tenant Representation and has worked both exclusively and non-exclusively with many retailers. Tom’s current list of clients include Ruby Tuesday, McDonald’s, RaceTrac Service Stations, WineStyles, Omaha Steaks, Salad Creations, American Body Wrap and M & I Bank.
Tom is long-time member of The International Council of Shopping Centers and a former member of The National Retail Tenant’s Association.
